 योग मानव जीवन के लिए वरदान है हम योग के माध्यम से पूरे विश्व का कल्याण कर सकते हैं। योग एक वैज्ञानिक रूप से शरीर और मन को स्वस्थ रखने की कला है। योग जीवन जीने की कला है। योग जीवन जीने की पद्धति है। योग हमारे जीवन को अनुशासित करता है। भारत में योग प्राचीन काल से प्रचलित है। महर्षि पतंजलि ने ईशा से चौथी शताब्दी पूर्व योग को एक दार्शनिक रूप दिया । महर्षि पतंजलि ने योगसूत्र नामक पुस्तक की रचना की जिसमें उन्होंने 195 सूत्र या श्लोक लिखे। महर्षि पतंजलि ने अष्टांग योग की रचना की जिसमें उन्होंने योग के आठ अंग बताएं । यम ,नियम, आसन ,प्राणायाम ,प्रत्याहार, धारणा ,ध्यान और समाधि। यम का तात्पर्य है मानसिक शुद्धीकरण या मानसिक अनुशासन । यम को महर्षि पतंजलि ने पांच भागों में बांटा है। सत्य, अहिंसा, अस्तेय, अपरिग्रह और ब्रह्मचर्य। प्रारंभिक तौर पर योग साधक को अपने जीवन में नियम का पालन करना आवश्यक है। यम के अंतर्गत योग साधक सत्य ,अहिंसा, अस्तेय, अपरिग्रह और ब्रह्मचर्य का पालन करता है सत्य का अभ्यास करने से मन शांत रहता है अहिंसात्मक आचरण करने से भी मन को एकाग्र करने में मदद मिलती है अस्तेय का अर्...
